Easy face masks from your kitchen
Sometimes your skin needs a little pick me up, however you may just have run out of masks or the money to buy one. Let's be fair, masks can get quite expensive, especially, if you have to buy one for every week. Darlings, do not fret because you can find everything you need for a 15 min facial pampering in your kitchen. Here are 5 ingredients in your kitchen you can make into a marvelous face mask and their benefits.

Easy peasy tomato face mask
Get a tomato from your kitchen, cut it right down the middle and gently rub half a tomato on your face. Leave it on your face for about 15 to 20 mins. Rinse off with warm water and follow up with your skin care routine.
Benefits:
Tomatoes have astringent properties and help with big pores and regulating oily skin. They are great against blemishes and help combat an aging skin.
A bit more creative
Add 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of tomato juice or pulp and ½ teaspoon of lemon juice to take care of those discolorations and for a pretty glow.
Benefits:
Lemons are antibacterial and help treat acne. It reduces discolorations and blemishes over time.
Don’t have lemon?
1 teaspoon of Honey and 1 or 2 tablespoons tomato pulp combination is great as well.

Honey is a humectant that means it retains moisture. It has anti inflammatory and antibacterial properties which help with healing tissue and treating acne. It also helps clear blemishes.
Lemon and honey face mask
Mix the juice of half a lemon with 1 tablespoon of honey for amazing benefits.
Egg white face mask
Remove the yoke from 1 egg and beat the white into a foam. Smear the foam on your face. Leave it to dry and wash off with lukewarm water.

Egg White have astringent properties and therefore tighten pores. It also tones skin and helps you get a smooth complexion.
Egg white and lemon combo
Remove the yoke form 1 egg, add one teaspoon of lemon to the egg white. Mix it up and smear on the face to take care of acne, tighten your pores and tone your face.
Even better
Add a teaspoon of honey to the egg white and lemon combo to make it a bit more hydrating for your skin.
Refreshing Tomato and cucumber combo
Add half a tomato pulp to some cut cucumber and smear on the face. It's refreshing and calms the skin.
Benefits:
Cucumber is hydrating and contains antioxidants. It is very soothing for the skin and cleanses pores.

Always wash your face before a face mask
Avoid the sensitive eye and mouth area when putting on masks.
Wash your masks off with warm water first and follow up with a cold splash of water.
Leave face masks on for around 15 mins.
You may feel a tingling or prickling sensation because of the acids in the masks however, if it burns wash off immediately.
